Definitions:

Podcast: This can be likened to an "on-demand" radio show. Digital audio of any type (voice, music, or a mix of the two) is recorded on a device like an iPod or computer, saved, and posted to this site for consumption later. For example: A teacher can record their classroom lesson and post it for students who miss that class for a 'replay' at a later time. Podcasting allows listeners the flexibility to download a recorded broadcast and listen at their convenience - essentially helping to create a 24/7 learning environment for our students..

Vodcast: A video podcast.

iTunes: Free software (Windows and Macintosh) that allows you to download, listen, and subscribe to the podcasts and vodcasts.

MP3: Popular computer file format for digital audio/podcasts.
